Ian

ELDC President

​Ian founded The Early Learning and Development Center in Greenwood in 1981. The success of Greenwood and the demand of quality childcare grew over the years which led Ian to open a second ELDC location in Broadview in 1992.

Patrick

Center Director, Greenwood

Patrick started at ELDC in 2007. He is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in American Ethnic Studies and History. He also holds a Masters in Education.

Lindsay

Center Director, Broadview

​Lindsay has been at ELDC since November 1998. She has her AA in Early Childhood Education and a BAS in Early Childhood Education from North Seattle College. She has taught preschool for several years here at ELDC before moving into administration.

Ngaire

ELDC Executive Director

Ngaire has worked at ELDC since April of 1994. As Executive Director, she strives to ensure ELDC is a place that provides not only quality childcare and education, but also nurtures professional employment.

Talia

Center Assistant Director, Greenwood

​​Talia has worked at ELDC since March of 2015. She is a graduate of California State University Chico, with a BA in Liberal Studies and a graduate of North Seattle College with a BAS in Early Childhood Education. She has an M.S. in Inclusive Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Constructivism from Portland State University. Before moving into administration, she taught in our pre-k classroom for five years.

Aubrie

Center Assistant Director, Broadview

Aubrie started ELDC in September 2019. Before joining us at ELDC, she taught a toddler classroom in Yakima. Aubrie holds a BAS in ECE from North Seattle Community College. Before moving into administration, Aubrie worked in our older toddler room and younger preschool room.
