Lead Teacher, Koalas

​Sally has been working at ELDC since November 2005. She has her AA in Early Childhood Education along with over 17 years experience in different classrooms with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.


Lead Teacher, Kangaroos

Amberlee has been working at ELDC since October 2021. She has 6 years of early childhood experience ranging from being a nanny to lead teaching in a toddler program. She began working on her associates in Early Childhood Development at Mesa Community College in Arizona, before moving to Seattle with her dog, Diamond.

​Aubrie started working at ELDC in September 2019. Aubrie has been working in childcare for four years and before joining us at ELDC, she taught a toddler classroom in Yakima.  In her free time, Aubrie enjoys photography, hiking, traveling, and baking. Aubrie is currently working on her AA in ECE at North Seattle College.


Lead Teacher, Kookaburras/ Curriculum Cordinator

Annie started at ELDC in September of 2005. She has a Bachelors Degree and before ELDC, she worked with autistic children at The Child School. Annie is passionate about creating and implementing the highest quality curriculum, and enthusiastically researches the most current ECE studies to share with the center.  


Lead Teacher, Kookaburras

Esperanza started ELDC in October 2021. Esperanza has experience babysitting and caregiving. She has also done volunteer work in Guatemala at a hospital and has taken some college coursework.


Lead Teacher, Wombats

Alyssa started ELDC in February 2021. She came to ELDC after spending many years in the restaurant industry.  She chose to enter in the world of early education as a way to be apart of a rewarding field. She started out as a lead teacher in our Koala room, and is now working in the Wombat room as lead teacher. She will be starting North Seattle in the fall to pursue an ECE degree. She loves DIY projects, travel, and spending time with her dog

Sara started ELDC in July 2021. She has a degree in Human Services. She is passionate about disability rights and mental health. She interned at the Arc of Snohomish County through WWU. Her mom was a kindergarten teacher and she often help in the classroom. She is musically inclined and loves to play guitar. During free time, she takes her two dogs on long walks!


Assistant Teacher

Melissa started ELDC in March 2021. Melissa has a BA in Cinema Studies from the University of Oregon. She has spent time nannying for her nieces and nephews. She was a tour guide in Seattle and feels she is able to teach people of all ages! She loves being in nature and is local to the PNW. She has a wonderful sense of humor and the kids are getting big laughs with her!


Assistant Teacher

Grant started ELDC in May 2022. Grant been assistant teaching at various early education programs around Seattle for several years. Grant has experience working with children with special rights as well as at-risk children.Grant has an associates degree in arts and sciences, which he uses to help find fun and interesting facts to share with the children.  


Assistant Teacher

Alex started ELDC in May 2022. He is new to the early education field, but has experience babysitting and working with school age children at a community theater. He is eager to apply his theater skills to the classroom by collaborating with his collogues in their development of curriculum. He is from Georgia and has lived in the SF Bay Area before moving to Seattle.

Lauren started ELDC in June 2022. Lauren is new the early education area, but has experience working with school age children as a tutor and martial arts assistant instructor. Lauren has worked for UW as a classroom technician. Lauren is a recent graduate from UW with a BS from UW in Human and Animal physiology. Lauren also volunteers at the Seattle Aquarium.

Garrett started ELDC in June 2022. Garrett has experience working with school age children as a teachers aid. Garrett has a BS in Graphic Design and is passionate about music. Garrett loves using art to foster imagination and individuality. Garret is a wonderful cartoonist and uses it to connect to children.

Nuriya started ELDC in July 2022. Nuriya is new to the field of early learning, but has several years working with high school students as a paraeducator. Nuriya speaks several language including Farsi, and comes to us from Pennsylvania. Nuriya has three adult children is about to be a grandparent.

Skylar started ELDC in August 2022. Skylar is new to the field of early learning, but has several years working with school age children. Skylar also has experience coordinating curriculum for the Seattle Nature Camp. Skylar loves to read, crochet, and write music.

Ms. Anita

Center Chef

Ms. Anita has been serving up tasty, and nutritious meals for the kiddos at ELDC Broadview since 2002. She loves seeing the smiles on their faces as they sit down at the tables for mealtimes.
